How to find your TV model and software version

Knowing your exact TV model helps us pick the right app and tell you whether your TV will run it.

The sticker

Almost every TV has a sticker on the back or side with the model number. It is the quickest way. Take a photo of it and send it to us.

Android TV and Google TV

1. Open Settings.
2. Choose Device Preferences, then About.
3. Note the model, the Android version, RAM and free storage.

Samsung

1. Open Settings, then Support or General.
2. Choose About This TV.
3. The model code and software version are listed.

LG

1. Open Settings, then General, then About This TV.
2. Note the model and the webOS version.

Hisense

Open Settings, then Support or Device Information. Tell us whether the store on your TV is Google Play or the VIDAA App Store.

iPhone and iPad

Open Settings, then General, then About. Note the iOS version.

Why we ask

Older TVs may not run newer apps. Reading the model year from the code lets us tell you honestly what works, instead of letting you waste an evening on installs that fail.
