Setting up streaming TV on a new television

A new TV is the best moment to set up streaming properly.

Step by step

1. Connect the TV to your network, by cable if you can.
2. Install the TV software updates. This avoids many app problems.
3. Tell us the TV brand and model, with a photo of the sticker.
4. Install the app we recommend for that brand.
5. Open the app and send us a photo of the screen that shows the code.
6. We load your account. Close the app completely and open it again.

Moving your account from the old TV

You do not need to start again. Tell us you have a new TV and we load your account on it. Replacing your TV is not an extra screen.

Picture settings

After setup, check the TV picture mode. Standard or Cinema modes are better than shop-display modes. Turn off heavy motion smoothing if movies look unnatural.

Sound

If you use a soundbar, test it with a live channel and a film, as they can use different audio formats.

Keep the old app?

Once the new setup works, uninstall the app from the old TV if you will not use it, to avoid confusion.
