What is an EPG (TV guide)?

EPG stands for Electronic Program Guide. It is the grid of channels and times that shows what is on now and next.

How the guide gets to your app

The provider sends a schedule file along with the channels. The app reads it and shows programme titles, times and sometimes descriptions. When the file loads, the guide fills in.

Why a guide looks empty

• The app has not finished loading. Wait a minute and check again.
• The guide data for that channel is missing or the channel name does not match.
• The phone, box or TV has the wrong date or time zone.
• The guide is switched off in the app settings.

How to fix it

1. Check the date and time settings on the device.
2. Close the app fully and open it again.
3. Use the app's refresh or reload option for the guide.
4. If a few channels are always empty, tell us which ones.

Does every channel have a guide?

No. Large mainstream channels usually do, while smaller or regional channels may have little or none. This depends on the data available for that channel.
